Milan SL

Räderwerk

Created in 2005 to participate in competitions and break speed records, the Milan (SL and GT) already has several records.

The Milan is constantly being improved, while seeking to be compatible and comfortable for everyday use. In this sense, aspects such as weight, rigidity, comfort and other characteristics are improved.

With an aerodynamic coefficient of 0.1, the Milan is one of the velomobiles with the least air resistance. Therefore, only about 160w of power is required when pedaling to reach 50 km/h.

RECORDS

In 2010, Christian Von Ascheberg covered a distance of 1,219 km in 24 hours, a figure that no other velomobile has beaten to this day. Powered only by muscular force.

Bill Thornton (58 years old) produced an average speed of 97.96 km/h at the human-powered speed championships in Battle Mountain, Nevada, in 2019. Record speed for a velomobile on the flat today.
